Where can I pay rent?
Rent is due on or before the 1st of each month, with a grace period until the 5th. You can conveniently pay rent and other charges online through the Tenant Portal using your bank account. We have lock box at the office which can be used 24/7 or they can bring rent in person to the office between 10am - 3pm. -
Is renters insurance required?
Yes, renters insurance is required. Tenants can pick their own renters insurance policy or they can choose a policy through the tenant portal on AppFolio. -
What are tenants responsible for maintaining?
Tenants are responsible for property maintenance as outlined in their rental/lease agreement. This includes regular tasks such as lawn mowing, setting heat at a minimum of 60 degrees to prevent pipe freezing, using exhaust fans or opening windows to reduce mildew, ensuring functional smoke detectors, changing furnace filters every 3 months, and keeping all lightbulbs in working order. This list is not exhaustive but aims to enhance your living experience. -
What should I do in case of an emergency?
For emergencies like a fire, flooding, gas odors, etc., call 911 first and then contact our office. After hours, please leave a message on our after-hours phone with your name, immediate call-back number, and a brief description of the problem. For non-emergency issues after hours, leave a message on our office phone, and your call will be returned. -
Can I get Satellite or Cable TV?
To prevent potential property damage, please contact our office regarding guidelines for installing a satellite dish. All installations should be completed by a licensed professional. -
Can I paint, plant, or make changes?
Any changes, additions, or modifications to the property, inside or outside, must be requested in writing and receive written authorization before proceeding. -
I want to move out. What do I do?
To initiate the move-out process, a 30-day written notice is required. Please note that you may be responsible for a Breaking Lease Fee. For complete details and requirements, we recommend contacting Crestworth Property Management.
